Elijah is becoming somewhat difficult to sympathise with:Although unquestionably well-intentioned, his talk about "sticking to his principles" feels a bit self-righteous and he really needs to accept the fact that he's married with a family and what that might mean. Morag's lecture on the subject is somewhat heavy-handed but essentially correct.
Charlie's constant "The Braxtons are bad news" mantra is starting to get wearing and feels like a cover for her attraction to Brax, so it's a bit of a shame that Leah seems to be coming round to her viewpoint. Brax shares only his second scene with Casey and is shown to be supportive and perhaps even encouraging, fitting in with his own apparent desire to rise above his background.Casey's rebel-without-a-clue attitude continues but does at least seem to have some depth to it. Unfortunately, the clan's mother seems to be little more than a cypher and Heath seems to be on the verge of becoming one.
