ZegMaarJus11 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Red, he thinks that Mr. Kaplan is still alive. Red visits Maureen, Kate her sister. Maureen tells Red that Kate had an relationship with Clara Moore. The new name on The Blacklist: Laszlo Jankowics, the son of Marko. Red 'killed' Wallace, but only Laszlo thinks that he is dead. Red arranged a meeting with Clara, she needs to clean Red his mess. Alina got a headache attack when Laszlo shot. Red tells Harold that Kate is possibly alive, and that she is the blackmailer. Red sees 'Kate'. Weecha walks into the building where Kate is, there was a big fire explosion. Nice Episode of The Blacklist Season 9, what a shock. Is Kate Kaplan still alive? Or is it Maureen?

Warning: Spoilers
It seems to me that Mr. Kaplan is the only one who is able to destroy Reddington.

Although the reappearance of her is so unrealistic, but I'd like some action in this series. Had none since Tom back in the beginnings of this TV show!

Carelessness/Time Wasting
Hitchcoc17 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This gives us more questions than answers. We have the prospect that Mr. Kaplan is still alive and is orchestrating this whole Cooper thing and the Elizabeth cover up. It starts with the hopped up Laszlo Jankowics killing a roomful of people who are listening to a professor talk about the wondrous future of LSD. Laszlo and his pet lion come through the door and he kills everyone. He is a certifiable screwball sociopath. Once again, it is amazing that two people would follow him. We have other issues with Park and her monumental headaches, Cooper starting to really worry as little is falling into place, Aram and his employee evaluations, and so on. Of course, there is a dramatic end to the episode. Some of the reviewers see it as a cheap trick; other are excited to see the results. I find myself in the latter camp, although I can understand some of the hesitation.

This is such a so so Blacklist episode!!!

Warning: Spoilers
I can't believe this last scene of the episode; Weecha and the other crews/associates of Reddington walked into a trap while capturing (at least that is what they thought) Mr. Kaplan. At this point I am conflicted into two possible outcomes, either 1) Mr. Kaplan is alive and now she is making bigger moves than Reddington has anticipated, or, 2) Someone close to Mr. Kaplan is taking revenge on Reddington, this someone might probable knows Reddington much much better that Reddington is estimating. Damn!! Those 45 minutes long episode, the excitement and surprises, just wonderful and wonderful. I don't think I would ever complain for a single minute.

Moreover for the first time, we saw Harold getting desperate and anxious, this was some out different, developing and different perks of a character, loved it. Aram taking a step forward and showing the sighs of being a good leader, all of these were amazing. I so want Harold cooper to get out of this mess and rejoin as the Assistant Director of the Task Force. So much to come in the upcoming episodes and 10/10 for this episode.

You Only Live Twice Mr. Kaplan
GoldenGooner047 September 2022
So I get it now, when she jumped off that bridge, she had a Submarine waiting for her, and now years later she is back for Revenge I expect to see a white pussy cat next week And I see we have series 10 on the boards, Liz is brought back from the dead, or is she dead? Was she a robot double that got shot ?

I mean how long can they drag this series out for, yes it makes the actors a nice load of money, but it's way past it's sell by date 10 years folks, are they going for the longest running show, i mean Supernatural went for 14 seasons or was it 15?

So we might have another 5 or 6 seasons to go. I suppose we could have a Android Liz with Red's money.

A lame continuity error.
omero-omero2 October 2022
Technically it is not spoiler that Mr. Kaplan corpse was clearly shown, five seasons back, floating on the water after she suddenly decides to jump off of a bridge a moment later that Raymond has declined to pull the trigger (once again) to put an end to her life.

That was Season 4, Episode 22.

It is a blatant continuity error made by the writers to come up with such an imposing story line twist. That "corpse was never found" subterfuge makes no sense at all.

Raymond, for one, would never forget seeing the corpse of Mr. Kaplan floating on the waters of that river, not to mention the many FBI agents that were there, on that same bridge at the same time, when those events unfolded.

Even the most memory impaired watcher of the show would remember that scene. After all, Mr. Kaplan was a truly memorable character and a very much missed one.

Its One Bad Episode. Period.

Disappointed!
acana793 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The ending of this episode really portraits the writer's inability to continue to produce good stories and good scripts. It's like Reddington suddenly forgot his brain and accepts walking into a simple trap like that. It's just stupid and irritating.

The main problem with this show is consistency, and they sacrifice it by changing the story line on and off. Character attributes and experiences gets ignored and the illusion of Reddington gets destroyed in an instance.

Disappointed!

He has a lion!
bosporan30 April 2022
A dreary episode with a heavily telegraphed, albeit dramatic, ending.

Today's antagonist is simply an unfleshed out NPC used as a skeleton for a paint-by-numbers, drip-feed quest to find Kaplan with all the standard Reddington cliché moves. Ancillary scenes regarding the team's relationships and inner workings are stiff, unrealistic and add nothing.

Following the superb previous episode, we hit a new season low.
