Sex & Nudity

  • There are a few times where the characters talk about "getting laid" and how they have "never made love before". One character also talks about another guy wanting "to get into a girl's pants". There are also references to bugs impregnating the queen bug, the Overqueen.
  • A man grabs a woman's breast.

Violence & Gore

  • Several characters get punched or slapped, but this is played for comedic effect.
  • One character is a giant scorpion, and may be frightening to small children.
  • Three characters explode and die. Two are sucked out of an airlock in space. One character dies while taking a bullet for another. One is eaten alive by newborn bugs.
  • An incident of a man exploding is described.
  • We see the shadow of a man getting cut in half by a giant scorpion.
  • A man tells a fairly graphic story about how he himself was cut in half once.
  • One character stabs another with a knife, but it is revealed to be a literal prop knife.
  • No blood or gore, since this is a stage show, and not so much of a movie.

Profanity

  • Frequent use of "s**t," "d**n" and "g**-d**n."
  • A transmission is garbled, and we are led to believe that a character says "f**k," but it is later revealed that he didn't actually say it.
  • There is a running joke about how "science killed God"

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • One older character has a running joke about never having time to smoke a cigar.
  • Another character, who is in his twenties, is addicted to marijuana. Once his marijuana is found by his father, and another time he is smoking outside and proudly yells, "THAT'S RIGHT, I'M SMOKING POT!"

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The show gets really intense around the end, but you never actually see anyone get hurt. It is implied, however, that people get hurt, and there are a few scenes where you really think someone is going to be killed, or has died.
