This is the most poignant portrayal of youth, brothers and struggles of growing up with convictions and strong family support and I admire the effort and success of it all.

This is one amazing project and look into the lives of two brothers. My first reaction was to tear up, then to smile, then the tears flowed. My children are now all adults and I remember well the early years and the struggles I did not feel prepared to handle with my limited parental wisdom. Both of these young men were so very candid and without guile. I was glued to the TV and could not spare a minute to get up and leave the ongoing story line. My heart ached for their pain and rejoiced at the progress they made. They displayed such honesty and the growth of character as they experience success and adversity.Their level of maturity was so uplifting and inspiring. All I could think of is how can I get a copy of this to share with family and friends. I wanted them to experience the emotions I felt as I watched each brother set goals and then follow threw. My deepest feeling of gratitude to the production crew that made this possible.

Absolutely a wonderful film. I wished I had seen it when I was young and having trouble with sibling relationships. The film is basically a diary of two typical brothers as they grow up in a Mormon family experiencing very typical hopes and challenges. There is an interviewer, but you never see him and he hardly ever talks. The genius of this film is how the interviewer somehow is able to draw out the inner feelings of these brothers periodically as they grow to adulthood. It doesn't seem staged at all, but I don't know anything about the making of the film. It probably sounds boring, but it is extremely captivating and takes you on an emotional roller-coaster of empathy to joy, ups and downs, laughter and tears. A very uplifting film for all. I highly recommend it. I would love to have something like this for my own family. Maybe I'll start one.
