Once again, the Xavier/Mink interaction is the highlight of the episode, from their flirting on the beach to Mink instantly noticing the attraction between him and Sasha. It's a good thing since elsewhere it's business as usual between Mink and Romeo and this time Indi's the one in the firing line. The chip on Mink's shoulder is well and truly present and Romeo's willing to indulge her again.
Meanwhile, the dynamic between Sasha and Stu continues to incite interest.Sasha is now very obviously scared of her violent boyfriend, too scared to say anything either to him or anyone else, while ironically Sid begins to warm to him and fails to pick up on the warning signs in his comment. In the end an apparently unrelated problem gives Xavier a chance to be an unlikely knight in shining armour.
There's a nice scene of Roo and Marilyn trying to pretend they enjoy being single which leads into a rather odd plot line of Irene inadvertently setting Sid up on a date with...some woman who's in her house without any real introduction and wrecking his chances with Sid. Could do with better writing.
