Bewilderingly bad!
jonmccann24 June 2022
It starts off relatively intriguing, and for the majority of the 1st episode, which was based on a significant news event, it gives a little insight, but this quickly starts to unravel in episode 2 when the 'investigator' or 'documentarian' goes off on a save the world tangent, with no real purpose or necessity, except for their own over-dramatised ego.

There were elements of this show that I just found truly frustrating, but to be blunt, if you dont know anything about the dark web and murder for hire, you may find this insightful, but for the majority of those interested in true crime, the subject matter in this alleged documentary is nothing new nor informative.

Overdramatic
leightonmilton27 June 2022
The presenter constantly overdramatised the documentary to make it sound more intense than it actually it was. Most of the shots in this documentary is randomly of the presenter going for a jog or sitting at her laptop or in a car while she narrates what has just happened.

The documentary has an interesting premise about the dark web and being able to hire a hitman. But as mentioned before it falls off the rails when the presenter exaggerates all the emotions which just comes off disingenuous.

Bad looks like cheap propaganda
hwork-1523517 September 2023
Unlike the name 'hire a hitman' suggests this movie does not provide any insight on how to hire a hitman, instead it looks like a cheap documentary paid by law enforcement to discourage would-be-murderers from hiring hitmen online under the premise that hitmen most hitmen sites are fake

there are real murders by hitmen on dark web, ex google Yevgeniya Shishkina I do not encourage anyone to hire a hitman or to kill anyone, please don't do it, but for the sake of information is better to admit the truth and that hitmen sites are exposed to light and closed by law enforcement

one can google wet work on onion to find real murder sites.
