Mink's return gives the show a much needed shot in the arm as she rubs Indi up the wrong way, manipulates Romeo, shoots guilty looks at the camera and flirts with Xavier.Just like old times.It's odd that Romeo seems to care so little about Mink ripping him off twice over and odd that everyone seems to have forgotten Sasha's meant to be sleeping on the couch but the subtle love triangle between Xavier, Mink and Sasha is a nice moment and Xavier telling Sasha she deserves what she gets for dating Stu, unaware just what she's getting, is nicely ironic.
Meanwhile, Xavier also shows expected but perhaps undeserved loyalty to Dexter by trying to get him and April back together, although April being the one to point out the history between them just makes her seem petty.It's hard to work out just why she's angry for much of the episode and surprising that it takes Heath to convince her Dexter's telling the truth.In the end, it seems to be a case of her having a too idealised view of their relationship which Dexter failed to live up to and it's to be hoped that it's finally over.
Bianca brings Liam home, leading to a tense meeting with Heath and Darcy that everyone actually handles very well.Liam's indiscreet reaction to April ranting about Dexter is a nice comedy moment.
