They definitely did not need that explosion at the end. This is supposed to be high-brow TV and sa step above shocks and thrills like that.

But the episode itself was pretty good. The football case was timeley and relevant and played out exactly how it might in a real world scenario. The only glaring flaw was a Senior Defensive Advisor being up for a Head Coaching job. Someone in that role would not advance to the position of a head coach.

Just wish Eli Gold could've stuck around for more than one episode as there is more for him to do in this landscape, but maybe the reference to "his case" will bring him back.

Warning: Spoilers
I've been a fan of The Good Fight from the start, not having watched The Good Wife so much. It's amazing (and not in a really good way) seeing the evolution of The Good Fight from the first season to its sixth and final season. I must admit, season five was very woeful with the faux judge played by Mandy Patinkin, and season six tries to bring things back on track. Or does it?

I'm kind of disappointed with season six because it's way too surreal with Diana in a kind of floating world that makes me want to get in a surreal world and fast forward to the end of season six and therefore the end of The Good Fight.
