I understand he nailed your wife's head to the coffee table

Warning: Spoilers
The film itself is 67 minutes. Adam (Kenn Parks) has issues with the Affordable Care Act which he discusses at a restaurant with a ridiculous amount of background noise for the people that are in there. He is then taken captive by his friend Jason (Wesley Hinkle) who then nails him to a chair.

When Jason proclaims in the beginning, "There is no hope for me" I thought he was relating a Kafka-esque type of philosophy and we would be seeing random acts of chaotic violence. Indeed when he says as he drives in a nail, "There is a purpose" I was thinking he was mocking the biblical idea of divine purpose using nails similar to crucifixion. However, that was not the case, I went to deep. Umm, he did have a purpose, that is to "nail down" a confession. Get it. The title is simply an idiotic pun.

Like I said, the sound was bad in the restaurant scene. The chair scraping across the floor should have been shot over. You can hear sound chops for editing. When Adam does his soliloquy, it is raining and the rain noise makes Adams' words difficult to hear. Many times the picture is out of focus so they can concentrate on one item. This was overused.

The low budget aspect prevent any real gore or violence. You see Jason swing a hammer while Adam groans rather unconvincingly, if not comical. You then see a hand with nails in it. There wasn't much to the film. Should have been a short. Not sure why someone would even bother to make it. There are better ways to spend $600.00 Guide: F-word. No nudity. rape?
