The best episode till date
goyalsaransh1 March 2012
The people longing to see the season 3 finale could not have asked for a better ending to the season 3. By the end of the episode, you will be forced to search, when is the next season being aired? It is surely the best episode till date. It looks as if the last 2 minutes couldn't have been planned in another better way. A perfect finish to such a fabulous show. Mixed emotions are developed while watching the whole episode. The finale beautifully briefs the relationship shared between Peter and Neal. At the end of the episode, it is quite difficult to digest all what has happened in just a matter of few minutes. Few crucial facts remain undiscovered. I think the writer and the whole direction crew of the show, is getting better and better at planning the finale episodes, as the show progresses.

Excellent season finale.

There is no way this episode gers a 6/10. Some user states they used the wrong name of the prison(Sing Sing instead of Ossining) when actually they did use the right name. Now. To the episode itself. It was a classic cat and mouse game with Neal and Agent Kramer. I wont spoil it but it may make you teary eyed at the end. Neal and Peter display just how much they actually do enjoy each other and how important they are to one another. The hearing for Neal's commutation was done perfectly in between scenes of the episode showcasing how everyone has grown to love Neal and how important he is to the team. Can't wait to watch season 4(which is me pressing play).

Neals Commutation shows Krammer & Burke really not Thinking best for FBI

How often have we seen some Crime / Law Enforcement show where "Hackers" are offered Jobs?

Burke or Kramer should have thought we (FBI) does better with Neal on our side, and Neal wants to stay in NYC. So why don't we offer him a Job as a FBI CI Specialist? Not a FBI Agent.

Start with a 4 year Contract, and he is sent for specialized Training in Quantico. He stays under Peter; but 1 week or so per month or a month per quarter Neal goes to another FBI major city. To speak with other CI's and discuss time to have Purpose and stop being Selfish.

Maybe even work with Museums in having a Section of "Missing Art" where CI's make missing Paintings with original Artist but also the CI's Signature. Place where the Public gets to see "Missing Art" and be that "Extra Eyes" for Law Enforcement. Even small town Museums could have an area.

Neal even goes to Quantico to do a Day training with future Agents on how fakes are done.

Instead of giving Neal "Dignity" of being free, seen as really part of the team; Kramer is trying to extend Neal's time, and Peter is on the fence between TWO Cakes.

Then it would have maybe even had an Off shoot of Neal & Mozzie show?

Dumbest thing yet on this show.

Warning: Spoilers
They show the envelope that Neal sent from prison. The return address is Sing Sing Correctional Facility. Wrong! It is Ossining State Prison. Sing Sing is a nickname, it would not be on anything official. They may as well have addressed it as Up The River, as Ossining is the prison that phrase comes from, as it is upriver (Hudson River) from NYC. Oh, and he was a federal inmate. That means a federal prison, like Lompoc - which was previously mentioned on the show, but the feds don't arrest and try for state crimes and thus do not house in state prisons.

It is the Sing Sing on the envelope that is super stupid. Any felon or law person in New York can tell you its Ossining. Named for the Hamlet it is in.
