Precise, comic editing by Krushan Naik complements Thomas Jiang's direction to create a funny and poignant look at a modern thruple. The relationships in this film are both absurd and disturbingly ungrounded in the best undead way. Saw this short at the Dam Short Film Festival after a day of touring the Hoover Dam, and was thoroughly entertained. Naik's razor sharp eye for detail brings out the best in Jiang's collaboration with some really great actors, especially from Lisa Jacqueline Starrett and Zoe Olivia, both of whom bring an elevated charm and charisma to roles that might have otherwise been routine cat-fight material. So much fun.
