I really enjoy this show, but in Episode 8 there is an obvious mistake. The young lady playing the piano is playing a Mozart piece and the conducter berates her for butchering Chopin. It seems an obvious mistake that should have been caught. I do think that the introduction of Alexa's niece was a good idea and will be an asset to the storyline. I certainly hope the show comes back for a fourth season. I will probably never make it to New Zealand but I appreciate the beautiful background scenes. Fortunately there are a number of great programs coming out of Australia snd New Zealand for us to enjoy.

Actually, it is Schubert's Trio for Piano, Violin and Cello

Hello - I just want to clarify:
I see a few people wondering what the piece Ruby is playing in the rehearsal scene with the trio on stage and it is not Mozart. It is Schubert's Trio for Piano, Violin and Cello, No. 2 Op. 100, Movement II. Andante Con Moto.
The conductor berates Ruby for embellishing the piece, I believe. I have to listen to it again to be sure, but I think she is improvising some runs that aren't actually in the piece.
I think there was also someone on Tunefind that was searching for the name of the piece.
This was a fun episode, particularly as they picked pieces that aren't the usual classical pieces played on most shows. The Schubert has a very beautiful melody.

From the first scene, it is clear that this will be a good episode.
The introduction of Olive Crowe is a fantastic addition to the show. Not only is the character fun and well written, but the girl playing her is actually able to act--so many shows have children who are working hard at acting, rather than acting like real children do. She's almost enough for me to ignore the ongoing abuse of the camera and my corneas by whoever is in charge of costuming this year. I'll be looking forward to seeing what she does with the rest of her career.
All in all, the show continues to be good fun, and I look forward to the next season.

Mads takes the lead in doing the investigation when it comes to going undercover and doing the questioning. I love the way she comes up with her own ways of doing things albeit a little clumsy and awkward, which is really funny. Lol. Alexa is still manipulating things behind the scenes, especially at the end in catching the killer.
They had a deep fake video as part of the clues. This is cool given that is a very new thing that's going on right now in technology.
My favorite part of the episode is watching Olive and Alexa become charmed by each other. That's actually very sweet, and Alexa of course manages this in her own funny curmudgeonly way. I hope Olive appears in more episodes. I really like her and Alexa. The young actress is very good in the role.
Funny banter all the way around. Loved when Alexa got her foot brace taken off and she was kicking it up and dancing around. This show is so much fun. 10/10.

Boy that new girl looks like she will be an actress for the future. Very bold and knows exactly how to sit, smile and enunciate her words.
Having said that, I find it hard to believe that she can just show up at Alexa's door just like that on her own. I guess I have to put my brain on the side for that one!
The writing for this one was not as good. Yes Madison was bold and did things in a certain way but to just move into an apartment like the way she did is kind of unbelievable.
It was pretty obvious who the killer was. Lets hope the next story is better written and that the writers do not rely on the cuteness of the new actress to carry the show.
