Episode from BBC's This World series on the Norway Massacre carried out by right wing extremist/terrorist Andres Breivik. They weave together quotes from his manifesto with images from various sources, while they attempt to explain what went on that fateful day- and why he was able to kill so many (69 murdered, mostly youths). From the car bomb targeting the PM's office to the rampage and massacre on Utoya- that targeted the a youth event being put on by a group tied to the country's Labour Party- we hear how events unfolded from the survivors, police, prime minister and Breivik's defense lawyer, while following his movements in retrospect via CCTV and amateur footage. A truly disturbing act carried out by a very disturbed white middle class seemingly "normal" man. Is this what the future holds if we keep treading down the same path we are on? I suppose only time will tell. Very interesting documentary anyways! 8 out of 10.
