Liam does his best to intercede in Brax's hostility towards Hayley but both he and Heath are fighting a losing battle here.As is often the case, it's hard to tell what we're meant to think of Brax:We seem to be meant to sympathise with Hayley but are we meant to dislike Brax's bullying and intimidating ways or just think he's gone a bit too far?
There's an interesting dynamic among the teens.Townsend continues his victimisation of Casey but Casey stands up to him, despite taking some bad advice from Xavier, and manages to inspire Sasha to see her own problems.The byplay between Sasha and Xavier and Sasha and Sid is rather good.
Meanwhile, there's a subtle parallel between Indi and Romeo:While Romeo is feeling guilty about having to take handouts from Ruby, Indi is pressured by spoilt friend Lindsay into buying a dress she can't afford and finds their ideologies at odds.
There's also the beginning of a storyline for Colleen as she gets news about Lance, leading to a nice scene between her and Marilyn.
