Crossland otherwise known as Terror is a English independent horror movie that was my nightly pick & mix watch therefore I went in knowing nothing about it.
Logging onto IMDB the next day I was immediatly hit by the first review claiming it was "One of the worst films ever". I hate seeing that claim, it makes me think that the person hasn't seen enough movies. For me to give a film a 1 means it's devoid of a single redeeming feature and that's rare and even then it doesn't mean I'd class it as "One of the worst films ever".
Well it's not a 1 by any means, it's hardly groundbreaking but it's a perfectly watchable effort.
It tells the story of a jogger who tresspasses through private farmland when he begins to feel like he's being watched. Before he knows it he is partnered with another jogger with the same problem, but is everything as it seems?
The concept behind Crossland is actually quite original, the execution of it however is spotty at best.
It looks good but feels amateurish especially due to the sound quality and mediocre quality actors.
Passable stuff but mostly due to the premise.
The Good:
Fairly original stuff
The Bad:
Some of the sound balancing is off
Dreadful acting in places
Things I Learnt From This Movie:
I think Helen was actually drunk during the filming of this movie
