Another solid episode.

The locals hold a fundraising event for The Metcalf family, Dean is persuaded to attend. Erin's new boyfriend causes concerns, Maddy faces a tough time at School.

I'm waiting for this series to burst into life, and after this third episode, I'm still waiting, there's more good content here, but again I'd put it more in the solid drama category. Maybe the conclusion will spark it into life.

The opening sequence didn't fill me with confidence, it felt too soap opera, the focus needed to be more on The Metcalfs, and less on the family dilemmas.

It is definitely a well produced drama, there are some really interesting camera angles, focuses and good use of lighting.

It's always great to see Chris Coghill, excellent as Alex, I'm keen to learn what part he has to play, Coghill is ageing pretty well, he hasn't changed much since those early years, neither has Claire Goose.

For someone that's supposed to be having an illicit affair, Tony isn't half taking some chances, kissing on the front in Morecambe.

Solid, 6/10.
