Ismail: How the Threat of Death Comes Every Time and Every Place
zanuaritanadila1 March 2022
Ismail is a wonderful short film. When you watch the movie, you will get a deep feeling of fearness. The conversation about a dream made very good and not to much. I like the idea of the story and how it's very nature as a story based on history. I recommended this movie so much. So, happy watching and feel the feeling until you want to close your eyes because you can't imagine what happened in the next minute.

A Palestian refuged and his little brother. For gain monez, thez sells in a train station cookies. On the way, the older tells to younger one a story, piece of his dream, ideal and , not doubts, refuge in tough moments. But the return to home is not very easy and it reminds, including for the name of main character , the story of sacrifice of Father Abraham in Muslim version.

It is a short film wise, in profound sense, crafted. Inspired by reality, it reminds simple things, from price of survive, relation between siblings, to be front to death, the solidarity and the high care for the other loved one. And, sure, the force, miraculous force of stories. In short, just great.
