Wtf with this comment section?
calebzacz22 April 2023
I've been a S&L fan since day 1. And of the things i love the most about this show is it's human side. This show it's awesome because it never needed o meant to show superman kicking ass every 10 minutes, but to show a great written character driven story. I actually don't care if i don't see superman as long as the clark family have a great development. This episode was about love and loss, and now each character it's better than before. Somewhere somehow we will have some good kick-ass fighting scene and Superman defeating the baddie, but for now let's enjoy how great this characters are.

Amazing and wholesome episode!

I Miss Tal-Rho
sophiejensen-1306325 April 2023
In season 2 there was a main driving plot of the story other than either Lana or Clark's family. Superman had a brother he was learning to trust and rely on, who like Magneto or even Malcom Merlyn on Arrow was shown as nothing but bad and then gradually humanized. Clark also had someone who should have been a friend and an ally who didn't trust him. Lt. General Anderson. Superman didn't talk to his -the corollary to Director J'onn J'onzz in Supergirl- any more than needed and actually did keep a lot of things from until it was almost too late. I think mistakes and misjudgments happened on both sides and LOVE that Anderson got a chance to apologize before the end.

But Tal Rho and the actor that plays him was the most compelling and enticing part of the entire season. And certainly what drew me back for more. His accent, his past, his pragmatism, his acerbic attitude and his DESIRE for redemption in his brother's eyes. Like season 1 Wells in Flash he didn't care about people, he cared about his family. He was what Black Siren was for the last 3 seasons of Arrow. And I'm starting to think we'll never see him again.

I mean we know where he is but I want him back as much as his brother does. He would bring a balance and an objectivity back to the shows dynamic the lack of which makes this show a daytime drama. And if we don't either bring him back or give him some kind of send off it would be disappointing to an epic degree. I guess objectively speaking his run was done for a while. But they can bring him back just once more a changed amn or with the proverbial 'harbinger of things to come' right?

Too Much Filler: This Isn't A Superman Episode Really
panagiotis199316 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Live Reaction / Review for Superman & Lois Season 3 Episode 5: I loved the previous episode. I hope this one is just as good or better. The guy who came to see Natalie, the whole thing feels so random and awkward. In the first 20 minutes pretty much nothing happens. I have to admit that the fight against one of Mannheim's men was really cool, I wish it was a little longer and more brutal though. Wow what a boring episode that was. We have more cancer related stuff, Natalie's boyfriend, we have Jonathan's girlfriend and we have lots of dancing. Of course they included like 2 minutes of action so they can be like ''See? Action!''. While I enjoyed the drama of the previous episode, this episode is not really dramatic, its just flat, boring, tasteless and the story doesn't move forward so calling this episode filler wouldnt be unfair. I really hope the next episode is better. My rating is 6.5/10.

Didn't mind the episode
xjamberx25 April 2023
Was the episode action packed? No but still, imo an alright episode, has it's moments. Everyone seemed to get character moments this ep, lot of the Clark/Lois part seems to be in the hospital .. which imo is ok for 1 episode, I just hope, this isn't the entirety of Lois's storyline this yr, her sick in the hospital

If i have a critique, it's the Chrissy character, like my reasoning, Lois is the reporter, why is there need for another 1? (especially when Clark helps out in that dept on occasion)

Could a did without the teen drama at the school dance, let them fight robbers or something, that's better than a dance.

passable, but weird
pauli_gomez29 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I liked the episode. It was emotional about the chemo and the interaction between Clark and the two patients were great, as the final dancing scene. The acting was good as it is generally the case. But in some moments people behaved...well, weird.

For example, Nat suddenly forgot General Lane is not his grandpa. I understand she can forgot in a moment of emotion but not that she did not caught herself and said "Oh Sorry, i did not mean that" or something awkward. It is also weird what Matteo did, but perhaps it can be explained by him being a rich and bored kid. That is not too bad. Which is bad is Lois thinking she could be sneaky while carrying with her the chemo drugs. Or being a lousy reporter. I mean, she allegedly has been writing about Manheim for years, yet she seems surprised by what she told her about his mother.

There is a "Junior" character, who seems too old for being with Sarah, who insulted her mom and then she decides to comfort him. Also, he said they have not been friends in like a decade so...since she was around 7 years old?

There is also a superson who suddenly decides he is super important to train to be a fire bomber, what comes totally out of the blue.

Jordan took strangers to their home and tries to have his grandpa tinder dating as if he was not a super important general with many secrets, who would need to do a thousand security checks before meeting someone.

And then...the fight. I think it was bad. Physics were really weird and Superman decided to keep fighting the man instead of just stopping the uploading. Stupid.

What happened?
gomestim13 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This did not feel like this show at all. Superman & Lois has always surprised me at how good the writing was compared to other CW shows (and even many others), but this writing was really really bad. John suddenly gets offered a job and now its the most important thing of his life despite how we never heard of it earlier? Mayor Dean's son apparently used to be friends with Sarah. Never heard of that either. Mannheim just randomly decides to send over information to Lois with no gain for himself. The whole thing with Nat and her date. This was really the first time this show has felt like a CW show and I am not here for it. I really hope the rest of the season goes like the previous 4 episodes which were actually great!

What show is this again?
dwoodzz-3514816 April 2023
So during this episode we had... Who's all going to the high school dance... I haven't had a first kiss... I have to chose between a new job and my long distance girlfriend... Creepy boy mentally suffering from the death of his mayor father... New mayor deciding if she should expose old mayor's corruption or let it be... Woman afraid her friend will find out she's sleeping with her ex husband... Cancer patients telling stories of loss and grief... Husband of new cancer patient learning how to support his wife while still showing tough love... Grandpa trying to understand his grandchildren. So is this Beverly Hills 90210? Melrose Place? One Tree Hill? Nope, it's a Superman show! Or so it says.

One of the worst things I have ever watched on TV
dorukhan-119 April 2023
Omg, who is writing this show? I don't think it could be any worse... seriously! I really cant take one more minute of that cancer stuff. I have been watching this show since the beginning but it has become unwatchable. It's like a really bad soap opera with occasional superman scenes in it. The main scenario is bad, the dialogues are even worse, characters are unlikable and with every new season, you expect some things to click and move forward but no! Nothing clicks and nothing gets better. There is no need for sugar coating, the third season is one of the worst things I have ever watched on tv and I watch a lot of television!.. please cancel this show and stop destroying superman's legacy... let someone else start a new series and hopefully do it right this time...

Laughable soap opera
grlym-4684918 April 2023
Yet another episode that feels like exactly like the last episode and the one before it.

This season has five hard into after school special. Every episode is about the veryoje but Superman.

It's a slow burn over divorce and cancer and how neither slows down the female characters because they don't need anyone.

All if this could have been expertly infused in the show, and maintain a Superman plot. But instead it has turned into this day time soap opera hosted by the CW theme. I very episode this season feels like ground hogs days

The new villian plot feels a lot like ent episode of Black Lightning. Most all the guys characters have lost who they were in season 1-2 and are just props for their female counterparts. The show lacks balance. And definitely zero direction. It all just makes me miss Smallville even more.

I just wish this somewhat resembled a superhero show..
