I'm being completely serious as it will help with the slow pacing. Plus camera shots / scenes that are really too short or focusing on stuff that doesn't matter. Each year from the 'Playoff' edition to the 'Winner' title you didn't know what you were in for quality wise. Penthouse titles had a consistency problem - how the ladies were presented or general production choices - and no more is this felt than early in the 90's when Andrew Blake directed a lot of their titles like here with 'Play-Off 1993'.

Case in point the first lady up - Jami Dion. Her first appearance features a good shot of her kitty & butt but that's about it (1.5 mins). We move on to the beach now where there's also an identified nude model in the foreground, but it does provide pleasant shots of Jami nude with one leg up in the leg (2.5 mins). You get to hear from her as she poses in a purple string top (30 secs). Then in a black & white dress (2 mins). With a vintage car (1.5 mins) and finally a scene that jumps from one location to another quickly (1.5 mins).

Leslie Glass starts off in a limo looking fine and getting naked (2 mins). Now in a recording studio where she sometimes has a blonde wig on in scattered shots and you get to hear from her briefly (2 mins). She walks a dog in Central Park with no pants or panties on underneath a trench coat. A rooftop completely nude. Then quickly on the sidewalk in an open fur coat with nothing on underneath (3 mins). Lastly riding a horse in the desert (almost 2 mins). The good shots - continuous nudity - are coming sparsely.

Sacha is the third lady in a vintage car / picnic (almost 3 mins). Now outside at night dressed in straps only (2 mins). Backseat of a car followed up by her going inside a mansion for more stripping in a red dress. She's in the shower (1 min) and then lingerie (almost 6 mins). Tracy Wolf is topless on a bed. Then hair wrapped in a towel does her makeup & gets dressed. In and out of a black dress on a bed. Stripping from a white dress on a couch. More white clothing on a staircase. Dressed up like someone out of the French revolution in a weird sepia color tint. Lastly a black jacket and sailor cap (11 mins total).

Stevie Jean is last. Naked on the rocks. Wraps a sheet around herself. Wears a blonde wig on a bed for a brief interview. Black dress, stockings, top-hat. B&W scene in a ripped leotard. Shaving cream in a bathroom. Blindfolded briefly. Then sipping on champagne in bra and panties. Blonde wig and tight ultra blue shorts. Blonde wig again with a tight red skirt (10 mins total).

Each lady's material for 'Play-Off 1993' is presented back to back which is great. Too bad there's a little too much artsy shots, style going on here. The short segments all pilled together isn't a total loss, but this choice doesn't help draw you in. Director Andrew Blake was given full reign & lost control with some poor decisions. If it's any consolation prize at least the content isn't tame and there's some decent pieces buried within.
