Episode was fine

I see a lot of people saying this episode was boring, it wasn't. If you made it this far through the show you'll enjoy this one. Reddington is a lot of fun as always and Malik gets some pretty good character development. Malik shadowing Reddington is fun, they are a good pair. Reddington taking some interest in other people and doing nice things for a change is kind of satisfying after all the secrets and withholding info. The plot about the newly weds is alright, definitely not the best thing about the episode but it's original enough. Not very exciting tho :/ Hope it gets a little better

7.8/10 Not too bad.

Without the blacklist we have a filler...again
pekkasaarelainen1 June 2023
I love this show. Maybe too much because I wait for every episode and I get disappointed. Yet - I'll wait for the next one.

This episode was kind of okey but so forgettable that I had to check did I even watch the latest. I think this should have been made a 8 episode series couple of seasons ago or moved from network to streaming platform so that Red really could give FBI the worst of the worst especially now when they have new IT-guy.

I like the character but really. Would someone working to Red be so happy working to FBI. Yeah. He has a baby but so what. He knows what people have done while he have helped them.

Hopefully waiting for next episode.

Wow--People Sure Didn't Like This One
Hitchcoc22 February 2024
This has a very odd plot. I can honestly say that in my seventy odd years of viewing things, I've never seen a show based on the theft of dowries. First of all, imagine the research necessary to find victims. Then the hit and miss of hooking them up with men with whom they connect. The whole thing is beyond absurd. Also, the continuing saga of the elusive mother who is a mystery to her daughter. It doesn't fit what this show always did. This could just as well be an episode of Law and Order SVU. Reddington reconnects with a woman from his past when things were more interesting and becomes involved in some shady land deal. I guess we are still wondering about the fate of the task force, blah, blah, blah!

SEASON IS BORING SO FAR
tgurnsey-130 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Been waiting for this final season to pick up and get exciting but it has been one boring episode after another.

What the heck does Meera Malick's daughter have to do with anything and why should we care? There is way too much attention around her. Her being new this final season is just a waste of time to drag out each episode.

Plus this episode completely confused me. When Reddington ran into his old bodyguard Weecha and they kissed. I thought Reddington had been involved with her sister so what's up with that?

But being the final season they've really slacked and it seems these are just filler episodes. It's kind of disrespectful to loyal fans. Personally I wanted to see all the sides of the classic Raymond Reddington through out this final season and so far not much of it has been seen.

Season Boring after 10x09
darklordassassin30 May 2023
I can't believe I am writing this even though I have been a dedicated and loyal fan supporting this series for years. Unfortunately, after the Wujing arc which is kind of a letdown since it had so much potential. The story have gotten extremely boring and dull, lacking interest, especially after 10x09. Quite the first time I fall asleep watching the Blacklist.

10x10 and 10x11 was watchable but the last two are nothing but complete fillers going over each character's backstory on the Task Force. This episode was not that "bad" compared to the previous two because it had a slightly quicker pace and a partially interesting blacklister scheme. The only episodes that I have actually enjoyed this season are the ones written by Lukas Reiter which are 10x01 and 10x09.

My main issue with the series going forward is that it just seems like the writers are amateurs and they kind of gave up with the show and at this point they just want to rush and it done over with, which I find quite disappointing. What makes it super boring: no action, simply just face-to-face closeup that I find irritating, boring dialogue and dull settings, no more interesting blacklisters, and an evident slow-pace towards the main plot.

I hope next week picks up the pace with 10x15 and 10x16.

Boring
johnaskew29 May 2023
What's happened to the Blacklist this season, Keanes gone and it's imploded, this most recent episode is the most depressing so far, the new team member cannot act, deadpan, slow delivery of her lines, to be honest she's painful to watch and listen to. Are they just ticking off boxes or are they genuinely planning ahead for this series? If they are they need to come up to speed soon. Even Spaders presence cannot save this series for much longer, we want to see Blacklist criminals, we don't want to go into boring ex team members history and childhood issues for Godsake, it's about exciting and interesting as watching paint dry.

What the hell they are doing?
mariofelici27 June 2023
This series should have ended long time ago. The plot makes no sense and is going nowhere. It seems like a dog chasing his own tail.

The moves repeat again and again and again, and it doesn't step out from the same place.

The story goes in circles in a never ending swirl. White we wait for anything new or surprising, there we go again in another treason from Red, one more manipulation of the task force and another sneak escape... and the following episode here we go again foram the start.

It seems that after killing Elizabeth Keen they have nowhere to go. Why don't they just finish the series?

I stopped to Watch in the middle of season 10, and I can't stand it anymore...

Audio-Visual Sleeping Pills: Minority Fiancées on Parade
yohnny9 June 2023
The Task Force tackles a sophisticated and lucrative international scamming operation. Reddington steps in and sets everyone straight about this 21st century mail-order bride racket and it's all-hands-on-deck to right the wrongs and to console the unwitting victims of organized crime.

At least, I guess that's what is was about. I fell asleep watching it and resumed the episode later.

It was as if they had found some unused "The Equalizer" (1985-89) scripts lying around the Universal production offices and tried to tweak them into "The Blacklist" storyline. Whatever their strategy, it didn't work.

If you need a marriage counselor, don't call on Raymond Reddington. He has too much on his plate already.

"Talk amongst yourselves." ~ Linda Richman.
