"Now is the perfect time to walk away"
skteosk29 April 2013
This doesn't quite manage to hit the "Young couple torn apart by tragedy" mark mainly because the charade is more obvious than the reality:When Indi doesn't know that Romeo's ill and Romeo's pressing on with so much stoicism that it's hard to see any difference, the audience are likely to forget that he's meant to be dying as well. And the cute, upbeat romantic music doesn't help the mood either. In the end, the viewer's left combing their dialogue for ironic subtext and double meanings.

Back in the Bay, Spencer and Maddy's newfound calm is disturbed by the appearance of Spencer's brother Chris, who seems to be working to his own agenda. The result is Spencer ending up on a guilt trip which Maddy doesn't seem to know how to handle.

Meanwhile, Heath continues to light up the screen, from his creeping Casey out with the realisation of what he and Bianca were doing in the gym to the casual "It's either that or I break your legs", which gets the biggest laugh of the episode. With Brax absent, he also takes on a surprisingly authoritative role with the other brothers, even though it's Kyle who comes up with the engagement party idea.Natalie is typically superfluous and her reluctance to go to Bianca's party seems somewhat self-absorbed.
