A lot goes on, but three scenes make this totally unwatchable. Each time, Chen Zhen, with his fists and feet alone, refusing to use a weapon of those he vanquishes, attacks a horde of trained sword carrying ronin and wipes them out. The choreography is ridiculous. Every swordsman tries to hit Chen Zhen with the hilt of his blade, never trying slash forward with the blade. The katana is three or four feet long. Every time Chen Zhen hits his opponent in the chest with his fist, one body punch knocking out scores of opponents in succession. Are these members of a super strong dojo suicidal. Have they mastered the katana and refuse to swing the blade? There is some 2/10 drama here, but it is impossible to suspend disbelief because the fighting is too ludicrous.
