An amazing music doc
measapilot10 November 2023
If you're a fan of music docs, this one is a no-brainer. Animal! And Not Animal. Are the band's breakthrough albums, and while it's jam packed full of incredibly unique performances from those albums, you also get a bit of a "fly on the wall" insight to the band dynamics at that time.

From hilarious moments, to tension, to beautiful performances, there really isn't a second of this film that is worth missing. It was also filmed by the folks over at La Blogotheque, so it looks absolutely stunning as well.

It's especially interesting if you've ever been in a touring band. It captures the club touring circuit so well at times, I got a little wistful and nostalgic for the road.

An absolute MUST WATCH!

Margot and the Perfect Music Video
favrecaleb10 November 2023
The film buff in me desperately wants to find something to criticize, but I find myself at a total loss with this one. The visual presentation is gorgeous. The performances will haunt you long after viewing. The editing is deliberate and the pacing is expertly crafted throughout. At no point does this project come across as amateurish, and it stands mountains above the steady stream of made-for-Youtube sponsor traps available for purchase in this glorious time for art in which we dwell. An unflinching snapshot of a truly unique band. While it shouldn't be a surprise that a hardcore Nukes fan will adore this little film, I don't find it unlikely that this presentation may galvanize this group's music into the hearts of even those with no prior knowledge of their existence.

The definitive experience for any Margot fan
optimysticchristmas10 November 2023
If you were, are, or becoming a fan of Margot & the Nuclear So and So's this film is for you! Packed with enticing live and takeaway shows, Now That We Have Expired is an incendiary showcase and possibly the most intimate display of the first stage of the band that would quickly become a cult phenomenon. The footage captured by La Blogothéque that was released prior to the film was but a taste that left the diehard fan craving for more, and presented here is exactly what the fans had waited for, and boy was the wait worth it! Directed, assembled, and finished by Edwards and company, this is hands down a must see and one for the library of any Margot and rock documentary fan alike!
