I'm enjoying very much watching on the internet the interviews that Tom Snyder did on The Late, Late Show with Tom Snyder, which followed the Late Show with David Letterman, and I think Tom Snyder had to be one of the best interviewers ever (sorry Larry King). When Tom Snyder interviewed, the interview was about the interviewee, not the interviewer. Anyway, here Tom's interview with David Lynch was top class, with questions about Eraserhead, David being tapped as the director of Return of the Jedi, what inspires David. Why can't we have interviewers like Tom Snyder nowadays, really is it asking too much.
