Inside the complexities of Mozambique (and Portuguese heritage)
guisreis18 June 2021
Rich and carefully developped movie, that brings more questions than answers. That is not a flaw, it is intentional. Things are complex, multifaceted. Historic, political, social, racial, family issues merge, they are not separable, and not coherent. Filmmaker Margarida Batarda chose great actresses to investigate her own past life, its heritage, the history that is not told.
