Top notch silent short film about the interplay of passions, hazards and foibles of love.

This film is bright and clever without being smug. As a first effort for writer/ director, Sara Godfrey, it has polish and flair that one would not suspect possible from a new filmmaker. The score is fantastic and forms a solid base of the tango, undoubtedly one of the most smoldering and complex of dances. It allows the protagonists to use the grounding of that music to figuratively dance through the beginnings of a routine day, into an exciting flirtation that becomes a grave disappointment, and transforms further into elated hopes and yet again into shattered dreams of an unfulfilled potential passion. You will find yourself in sympathy with the barista who is wooed, then seemingly cast aside, falters in the eyes of the object of his love and then finally gets the girl.
