What is life? Life is this film. What is the current in the water that makes our souls and hearts beat and aligns them in sync so perfectly? This film. This film is a depiction of just how glorious and amazing true art can be. Nothing has ever come so close to touching so many before, but now there's this - a mesmerizing, beautiful piece of art, hidden in plain sight. What is film? This is film. This is the result of millennia passing and the worlds aligning to create the perfect consequential outcome that is this film. This is the film that convinced Bush to do 9/11. What is this film? THIS FILM. Where else has such true beauty been present? Nowhere else. But this film (and maybe "Frozen"). It holds true to such classics like The Godfather, Terminator, Goodfellas, Almighty Thor, and, of course, Frozen. The Breaking Bad of movies, this will never get old - until, it does. All good things come to an end (unless it's Breaking BAD... or 2016). This is the centerpiece of the world, what makes it turn and go round every day - alongside ads on the internet and a certain four letter word that starts with P and ends with N. Nothing could ever be so gentle, delicate, or such a beauty as 2016. Why not give it a shot? It'll change your life dramatically. Hey, did you ever see Goodfellas? Thought so. What about 2016? Nope. GO WATCH IT. Why? Because it's better than Chicken freaking Little. How? Because it's Tw-Tw-Twenty-fricken- Sixteen.

Directed by Samuel K. Nkansah - AKA Ninja - 2016 is the kind of movie that doesn't just bring you xenomorphs and Predators, it also throws in some Terminators. I'm frankly shocked that Chucky didn't show up.
These xenomorphs are way smarter than any we've seen in the Aliens series. They're here to colonize Earth, starting with Accra, the capital city of Ghana. Mostly that means wandering alleys and killing humans in violent PS1 CGI ways. They want to colonize the Earth by 2016 - that's the title figured out - and they also fly in the Enterprise, because if you've violated this many copyrights, violate all the copyrights. I mean, they also took the story from Independence Day but that movie didn't go as far as having an alien dropkick a baby.
Most of the good parts are in the trailer. Then again, that's true for most movies. Most movies don't have an alien throw a poorly drawn CGI convertible at a screaming woman and turn her into pixilated liquid.

The effects are the greatest CGI i have ever seen. Absolutely marvelous.
I especially liked the scene where the alien kicked the crud out of that baby. WOW.
I would really recommend this film if you are looking for a thrilling joy ride of a film. This film is up there with the greats: Godfather, Citizen Kane, Spy kids, G-Force, Babe 2 Free pig in the city, Super Mario bros the movie and Over the hedge.

Should of won best foreign film at the oscars or something. Wow. Everything was so good about it. The CGI was better than anything I've ever seen. Better than movies like avatar, endgame etc. would definitely recommend

For the good news; The show is good. For the first time Ghana showed they are capable of making sci-fi movies with good editing and action. To judge the movie, I'd say the creative idea and acting along with editing was good.
Now the bad news; The movie has a lot of mistakes that we must take notice of. The fact that it wasn't something never done before in Ghana doesn't mean it should be idolized.
This movie talks about aliens orbiting earth and I don't mind If Ghana had a super smart scientist but to say they are not only able to identify the aliens but send messages to them. Seriously? I'm not being a racist here but there is evidence that NASA has telescopes and Satellites orbiting earth that could have already recognized the alien ship.
Now the alien has landed in Ghana and started Killing people. Wait a minute, the killing of people goes on long enough yet we don't see Guys like the cops or even army force making any move to fight the aliens. They stayed long enough for the DCE to hear of it, long enough for the president to hear it and take action by withdrawing citizens from that area and fighting the aliens.
The last time I remember, the news of the aliens spread through the radio and yet ECOWAS, AU and neighboring countries didn't proceed to even help although there was evidence to prove that the aliens were real and were a threat to not only Africa but the world as a whole. The news was enough for even NASA to take intervene and you know, take things into their hands.
Anyway,I congratulate them for their hard work in making this film but next time, think through before you make such a movie.
