In the Quarter, Hayley asks Klaus what chef he compelled to lay out the food on a table. She takes a bite and Klaus says it was not him. Hayley then assumes it is Elijah they have to thank and Elijah says this was not his doing. They find the letter saying dinner in their home. It is an invitation but the guests are hosting.
Hayley gets up from the bed and says it's things like this that make her glad she never got to meet her mom.
Elijah goes to see Marcel for a witch to place a spell on Esther. He tells Gia, his new vampire, to take Elijah to their witch. Elijah offers to use his compulsion to help with finances in exchange for a spell placed on a witch who keeps switching bodies. Klaus shows up at Marcel's for the necklace he gave Marcel when he turned 11. This is to be the talisman in the spell.
At dinner there is a bit of a heated discussion and then Esther disappears from Cassie's body. She is now in the witch's body. The guys come to the coven where Esther leaves once again with her magic after another heated discussion.
