Poorly made propaganda piece.

Going in you know this is going to be anti-Nazi propaganda but this one takes the prize for the worst ever made. Perhaps having Jerry Springer in the film as the "Son of Holocaust Survivors" should give you a clue. Springer's parents left Germany for England years before the mass exterminations allegedly even began yet they are supposedly survivors.

Scant attention is paid to detail or even truth in this film. Examples of the film's sloppiness include footage by Eva Braun from Hitler's chalet in Berchtesgaden while the commentary talks about lavish parties at Göring's house and Allied soldier loading valuable paintings onto a truck while the narrator explains Görings theft of art works. Another scene shows pictures of selected editions of "Der Stürmer" while the commentary explains Dr. Gobells' responsibilities as propaganda chief. In reality, "Der Stürmer" was published by the Gauleiter of Franconia, Julius Streicher. "Der Stürmer" was an independent initiative by Streicher which began a decade before the Nazis even took power and not within Goebell's control. Indeed, many in the party leadership loathed both the paper and Streicher, including Goebells, but could do little about it because Streicher was a Gauleiter and reported directly to Hitler alone.

There are many more examples of this blatant misrepresentation and makes the film difficult to watch as a result. I ended up counting the number of times the word 'evil' was used before I lost count.

Worst documentary ever.
