This show is beyond amazing. Why everyone is not watching it is beyond me. It is sad to see that it has been moved to 11:00 PM. I guess that means it is not terribly popular, and edged out by the (crappy) repetitive food shows on the channel. Really a shame. Moving, brave, amazing, nothing else like it on TV. Nowhere else will you see regular people - - not politicians, talking heads, analysts, etc -- from all sides of a conflict sharing stories, telling their perspective and sharing a meal. They have been to the West Bank, Cuba, Rwanda, Northern Ireland and many more and it just keeps getting better and better. Even if you consider yourself well informed, you will learn things you did not know, and will be moved and engaged.

This is my first time writing a review, I don't normally feel compelled to do so. However, after seeing that a show as amazing as "Breaking Borders" only has one review, I knew I had to share. "Breaking Borders" is incredible! I have learned so much and have felt so inspired by each and every episode. This is by far the best show I have ever seen on the travel channel. Both Mariana and Michael do an amazing job. I think more people need to watch this series. It is a shame that it is not more popular. "Breaking Borders" is not afraid to tackle important issues head. It serves as a reminder that there is so much going on in the world, and often times as Americans we don't really care to educate ourselves. This show is a breath of fresh air. I encourage all to give it a shot! I truly believe in what this show is doing.
