not enough physicality indeed!

Opaque body-stocking, blond wig. The same style of outfit from CHANDELIER and ELASTIC HEART, with Sia saving a fortune on wardrobe for her little protégé.

I have to concur with the other reviewer here, which is why I parrot his review's title. You have Maddie Ziegler here, but no acrobatic dancing, was she having the day off, feeling at low ebb, tired after filming CHANDELIER that morning, and ELASTIC HEART earlier that afternoon, so Sia said she could merely pull faces? Uh-uh, no, you all threw something away here. You could have had all the face-making interspersing dance sequences. It's Maddie jumping blond frog Ziegler for crying out loud, we want acrobatics!

As for the song, No, I remain unmoved. Maddie's the star, it's Maddie, and only Maddie.

Really pretty kid in graphically barely-there outfit. I'm still puzzled why vinegar-voiced Sia gets away with this...

Some really, really weird face-pulling here, really weird, Maddie. Unexpected body parts too. Having just seen it, I'm not suggesting any of it is inferior, but next time, dance, kid, jump about like the whirlwind tornado you are!

Not enough physicality

Warning: Spoilers
"Big Girls Cry" is the most recent song by Australian musician Sia and it features once again dancer Maddie Ziegler as the main character. After Shia LaBeouf in the last film, she is alone again this time. Unfortunately, these 3.5 minutes lack the best from the previous two collaborations. The camera is almost always static in this one and we only see Ziegler's head most of the time. Lets be honest: She gives her best, but talent in terms of acting and face expressions is just not on par with her talent in terms of dancing. But she is not the only problem here. Actually, she is not a problem at all. The direction and maybe also script are the biggest problem. It does not help that the song is not too catchy or spectacular either this time. I hope Sia steps it up again for her next works.
