Sex & Nudity

  • Whilst there is frequent crude sexual humour.
  • You find a notebook with sketches of some characters in sexual acts.
  • There's a story told very early that ends with you witnessing your parents having sex. Nothing is shown, but it is repeated at least three times.
  • One of the boss villains is Jared Fogle, a former Subway spokesperson who was charged with pedophilia 2 years before the game's release (nothing is shown).
  • The only graphic nudity is in the strip club.
  • The original South Park show usually has cartoonish sex scenes, but this game is much milder than the show. If it wasn't for the strip club scene, this game would be rated T for language and violence.
  • Stan and Wendy flirt when they hit each other in a battle.
  • Your main source of power is through farting and your butt. Not very sexual, but it can be a bit gross at times.
  • When fighting Jared, his attack is attacking the player with a foot long and he makes moaning noises, and squirts mayonnaise, obviously the joke isn't subtle at all.
  • One mission has you fighting Predator priests, and they pull anal bedes out of there bottom, and they make creepy comments.

Violence & Gore

  • The violence isn't that bad as it's just more bloody cartoon violence.
  • The players engage in turn-based combat by moving around a grid and selecting attacks from a menu. Players use various weapons (blades, claws), blasts of energy, ice, lightning, and melee attacks during combat. Blood-splatter effects occur often, and cutscenes occasionally depict cartoonish dismemberment or decapitation.
  • Mysterion's ultimate move sees him explode to damage enemies near him. The aftermath is fairly graphic.
  • This is a turn based fighting game. There is violence, but no blood or graphic content during fight scenes.

Profanity

  • As in typical South Park fashion, this game includes several instances of mature humor, racial humor, and sexual material.
  • There are many frequent uses of swear words (such as "fuck", "cunt", and "shit") and a lot of racial slurs ("nigger" and "spook") used as well. As in "South Park: The Stick of Truth", almost every profane word you can think of is used in this game.
  • The game contains a few uses of the middle finger. It mainly comes from Super Craig (known as Craig Tucker), as his picture before a battle starts shows him sticking out the middle finger, and he has an attack where he makes himself a target for an enemy by giving them the middle finger. In addition, the Martial Artist class's ultimate skill is called Dragon Swagger, where the player's character channels the power of a dragon, proceeds to give two big middle fingers to the enemies.
  • Contains strong language throughout, including racial slurs.
  • Cartman's superhero name is "The Coon" (an extremely offensive term for a black person).

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Contains adults drinking alcohol and becoming extremely violent.
  • During the course of the game, players can observe characters snorting lines of cocaine, and in one level, players must complete a quest to bring a marijuana prescription to a character.
  • Children collect and deliver alcohol, cannabis, and other drugs for adults.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This game, while full of sexual humor, violence, and coarse language, is far tamer to its predecessor, The Stick of Truth.
  • There is one scene in which the children are attacked by the woodland critters, but once the player prays to Jesus Christ, Father Christmas comes to the defence.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • One scene shows naked breasts briefly. Also, you have to get a Lap Dance to a man, but no nudity here.
  • A scene in a strip club is shown. Most nudity is covered by bras and thongs, but there are 3 scenes showing bare breasts. Plus, you can buy a sex toy at the counter.
  • An extra part shows Towelie giving a blowjob to a man. Nudity is not shown, but you can hear them moaning at one point (this is implied, but not seen).
  • During Mysterion's alternate Ultimate animation (when he's a ghost) he is shown floating to heaven where, just like in South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut (1999), a flock of naked angels greet him at the gate, with visible breasts and nipples.
  • In the final mission, during a cutscene where your parents tell your backstory, they are shown being experimented on. They are both naked (although their genitals are covered with machinery), but you can see your mother's breasts and nipples and on a monitor you can see your father's penis.

Violence & Gore

  • As the Christmas critters are introduced, they vomit extreme violent acts including heads being blown off graphically and animals cutting themselves open.
  • In one scene, near the end of the game, you have to choose to kill your mother or your father by either using a laser to remove your dad's head or ripping your mother's arm off for a DNA sample. This is brief, but gory. Though it doesn't matter, since that isn't the real version of the parents.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There is one boss battle with Towelie involving the New Kid having to light up piles of weed to get him to calm down.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The Bring the Crunch DLC is inspired by 80s slasher flicks.
