A drama full of realism.

Warning: Spoilers
Recently widowed Ronnie Young is relaxing in his car, reverses out, almost hitting his next door neighbour Helen's son, when he's challenged he can't remember. Helen is worried and accompanies Ronnie to see his GP, his memory is starting to fail a little bit, his kitchen is full of postit notes. Helen doesn't drive, Ronnie offers to teach her free of charge, she eventually accepts his offer. Ronnie spots a bruise on her shoulder and challenges her, he believes her husband Tony is hitting her. He does his utmost to help her when he discovers her situation.

I enjoyed this, less humour then Taxi for Linda, a more serious offering, felt like the earlier Moving on episodes. Eve Myles is a really fine actress, she put in a great performance, Paul Copley was great too, made Ronnie believable and wonderfully down to Earth.

Well scripted, believable, well acted and moving, I shudder to think how much realism there was in this episode. Quite shocking for daytime (the story that is.)

Very good, 8/10
