Disturbing but not the best one.

This is the goriest episode for sure, it has some chilling moments like with the phone and all. But the older episodes were scary by well, just being scary. Not my favirote but it's probably my third favorite

Warning: Spoilers
This episode has a nice song, some really nice humor, cool visuals, and then- an overdose in gore.

While the concept of this is really really cool (especially when duck guy tries to escape), it is a little too disturbing to fit my interests, because the blood and guts in this episode were just disgusting.

In my opinion this episode did what it appears to attempt to do. To disturb. And believe me when I say that it is some of the most violent and disturbing content in all of YouTube.

I think that this episode is definitely necessary to be included in the series, but it just seems overly gruesome.

If you're over 18 I would still recommend giving this one a watch (with some discretion of course), because just like every episode, it has its own creative spin on things. However, if you are under 18, do yourself and your dreams a favor and skip this one.

I don't want to do this anymore.

Warning: Spoilers
'Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 5 (2015)' is, for me, perhaps the most disturbing entry in its series. It's simply distressing, featuring a variety of chilling moments and bringing back the gore of the first two entries in the series (albeit in a far heavier dose). Honestly, it's genuinely upsetting. Here, it becomes even more clear that Yellow Guy and Duck don't want to be involved in these songs anymore. Red Guy is gone after the events of the previous film, leaving a distinct hole and prompting Duck to go on his own ill-fated journey of disobedience. It's also clear that something is wrong with the content itself; its colourful characters are creepier than ever before, consciously delivering overtly wrong information via their more-threatening-than-usual song. Thematically, the flick is (beware mild spoilers for this aspect) about the way in which certain information is constantly changing and how some people manipulate said information to convince you to conform to their worldview. The theme here is arguably less important than the more meta aspects of the piece, which involve the artifice of its world breaking down in tandem with its characters. It's a really horrific entry in its series. 8/10.

So disturbing, you will need to catch your breath by the end.

Never relies on shocking imagery. There is a story to be told, and once you know what it is. Your stomach churns. The most shocking and investing yet.

What's that, plain white sauce? Plain white sauce makes your teeth go gray!

Perhaps the best DHMIS episode, 5 if packed with iconic characters, catchy tunes and quotable moments. This also may be the goriest. Each one has one famously bloody image, and with this one, it's the image of duck guy getting his organs pulled and eaten while he's awake. For fans of dark humor, you won't find much better than this.

In my opinion, this is the most iconic episode. Whenever I get a chance to quote it, I take it. Whenever I get a chance to rewatch it, I take it. You can watch this episode so many times and never get bored with. This episode is an example of why DHMIS is one of the greatest web series of all time.

The series still seems to go strong and I still cannot see the appeal

Warning: Spoilers
The title "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 5" already gives away that this little movie here is the fifth entry to the fairly successful DHMIS animated short film series that produces like one new episode per year roughly. At over six minutes, it is among the longest installments so far and this time the focus is on food and healthy nutrition. However, things turn out eventually as unhealthy as it gets for some of the characters. No surprise though as the focus in these films is giving an awkward and dark approach to seemingly innocent animated children's television (with an educational component). I believe this is the last from the so far six installments I have seen and it is certainly not the worst. Not a good watch either I must say and the mere fact that other episodes are worse does not make this a quality movie. So yeah, as a conclusion I can say that this franchised never impressed me and the awkward component alone does not make it funny. About this one here in particular, it can be said that I feel that Pelling and Sloan maybe lacked material when it comes to the original characters as honestly, they are really only supporting players now watching new even less interesting characters perform their act. It may be finally time to end this series. Then again, this also could have been said after the very first film. The fact that this has millions and millions of views on Youtube and also a rating of 8+ here on IMDb baffles me. It's not an artistic or creative achievement by any means. Watch something else instead.
