- Sexual hinting. Especially during the honeymoon scene, where clothes come off and they graphically depict the love making with their facial expressions. Occasionally there are men's nipples shown, as well as a scene of an unmarried couple in bed with the woman's lace bra showing. Also in one scene the lead female has a see through t shirt on (thin material that shows a dark bra.) There is mention of "getting laid" in the beginning, and all the younger female's clothing is revealing in the chest area.

- There are clips shown of 9-11, since the lead male supposedly goes to Afghanistan because of it. The clips are mild if you were around for the real thing, but may be a bit much for younger children. Also, the lead character who comes back from war disfigured, in the beginning of his recovery gets a gun out and is shown to stick it in his mouth.
