This episode features Vegeta doing what he wants to and that is win. There's a really clever way he does this. The rules are that anyone loses if they go outside the ring and this happens to Vegeta. What happens is that a small chunk of the ring was blown out of the ring and he lands on a piece so he technically counts as having never left the ring. It's interesting that he's actually upset over this. He doesn't want to win or advance on a technicality but instead in his own right. Magetta is a pretty cool character with how he intimidates Vegeta using his fire powers.
It's especially amusing to see Trunks and Bulma root for him. Vegeta and Bulma are probably my two favorite characters if only because they make the best couple! In the end, Vegeta defeats Magetta and his next opponent is the Saiyan from the other Universe. I enjoy seeing him win but it's great that he earns his victories which I guess is to be expected in a tournament like this. Magetta's even sad he lost! I didn't know a robot thing like him could cry. ****
