Why can't all car shows be like this?
chrischapman-475453 February 2019
A pleasure to watch - a proper team of people who enjoy what they do and are skilled at doing it. No fake rows or ridiculously short timescales so the work is done properly and explained in detail. Except for the Jay Leno show I would rate this the best car show on TV if you are into classic cars/restoration. Other TV shows, on both sides of the Atlantic, have a lot to learn from this and I guess it must deliver a good audience for advertisers.

Best show
newlinmichael18 September 2017
If I was having a Car restored my first choice would be Martin brothers, they do fantastic work I love the show , I watch all of the auto restoration shows and without a doubt this is the best with some of the best hidden talent I have ever seen some of the things they by hand is absolutely amazing, Joe Martin is probably the most talented man I have sen overall I don't think there isn't much he can't do wh n it comes to automotive restoration.

Your "1965" Nova is really a 1964 or 63
jimbarbershopper10 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Great job on the Nova! I really enjoy watching you true artists work, but whoever sold you that Nova told you it was a 1965, when in reality it is at least 1 year older. My best friend's dad bought a new Nova in 65 and the grille and trunk were different. The 65 had backup lights in the trunk panel next to the tail lights, which were in the fenders. The grille was also a bit different from the earlier models with horizontal bars the most prominent. I looked them up online, just to be sure that my memory was right. It was. Super job, tho.

Great "No-Drama" Car Show!!!
nvmotorsportstx12 September 2017
Finally! A car show that is low drama! Joe and the gang are great friends, and it shows. Additionally, they are serious car guys! I have been to their shop in South TX (prior to shows) and know them to be a genuine car crew that loves what they do. This is my fav car show on TV period! Keep it up! This one's a true winner!

Excellent Show
ellisja-5095113 March 2017
I've been watching auto shows my whole life and this is one of the best. They show you how much was paid for the subject car, all the work is detailed, and the final price is shown. Not some Chasing Classic Cars plot were everything is protected so Wayne can maximize profit at his F40 used car lot. Wayne's show is too formulaic. Plus, at Iron Resurrection, all the guys (and Amanda) get along so well, no childish bickering. They genuinely have fun together. Bitchin Rides is a pretty good show as well.

Amazing!
gobrick7 January 2018
I really can't believe how you guys can take ANYTHING and make it perfect! You're not scared to build a frame or any part of a car. The talent in your shop is second to NONE! Turning a piece of metal into anything you need, coming up with paint colors that aren't seen anywhere else. There is no area where you are lacking, and your show is made complete with Amanda, Shag, Mike and Pompa! I think Joe's got more talent in his little finger than anybody else in the business, and Shorty is "all that" as well! All I can say is Bravo!!!

Great New Show
sdd-122779 July 2016
It's a keeper in my book, love the show and hope the company keeps them for another year!

The various builds from cars, motorcycles to boats, makes this and all around show.

The quality of the work is above most and it has a good company line of personnel.

It also keeps me wanting to see more builds, I don't care what it is. Also there is no hollering, cussing, smack talking about the people working. As I cannot stand a show with some kind of controversy all the time.

I watch this show and others on velocity but love this most. The way these guys get along with one is what makes the show great very good group.. The results of their projects are just great. It is a shame that people can't get along with each other Like this group does. Fantastic show

Great show, but...
janmarie-5201217 January 2022
...I could do without that blonde gal. She offers nothing except that she's the wife of the owner.

Other than that, it's not a bad show. I really like the painter Shorty; he does good work and is funny even when he's not trying to be.

Needs the Shorty Dog back
skiman-8694022 February 2020
The show isn't the same without Short Dog. He's the lil devil no one quite knows what to expect. He's the ying to Joe's yang. The show really needs and misses the Short Dog trick for the cast. Kato is missed but the Dog can make up for it. The flavor of the cast needs the Short Dog touch to balance it out.

Best build show on TV
toallen-1098621 September 2017
I watch Iron Resurrection every time it comes on, even if I've seen it before. It is without a doubt the best build show on TV in my opinion. They cut up and carry on like most shops I've been in in my life, and there's no made up drama for effect on the show. Unlike so many others on TV today. I love to watch shorty and the paint he comes up with is awesome, and the way he explains the in's and out's of the body and prep work he does before spraying I find very interesting. Of course that may be because I've never done any body work on a car I owned. I also like the designs that Martin comes up with is more to my liking. He doesn't go too far, just far enough to make the beast look as good as it runs. I certainly hope this show stays on for a long time, I really enjoy it. Tim Allen, Tn.

Eh average
ivanhackel24 January 2022
Cars finish quality is average. They don't really show much resto work and it's mainly bolt on parts with air brushing and flames that died out in the 90s. Want a good car show with no drama with high end builds check out Bitchin' Rides.

Outstanding show.
jaydub-937359 August 2017
Love this show and the guys working with Joe, Mike and Shorty. Could do with a little less Shag and Amanda but overall love the builds. Just watched the build on the 50 Chevy truck and they did it like something I would pay for and drive. One has to hope this show is on for more than two years.

absolutely love your show....I like the idea that the average man or woman could afford a build by you guy's....You don't have to be a millionaire to enjoy your builds....Keep it up and I'm hoping for a season 3...................Toby Maybe next season you could throw in a cool motorcycle build......

Entertaining
coppytop3 December 2018
With all the cars shows saturating TV, it's nice to watch a show without outlandish gimmicks or cast members trying to pretend to be something they're not. Joe has amazing vision, his crew is talented, and the projects they turn out are tastefully done. And as a woman in the automotive industry myself, I'm happy to see his wife Amanda involved. Overall good show. Love watching the bloopers and outtakes.

Fabulous
russellharvy-390171 January 2021
Watch several series similar to this, mostly based in Texas. This is easily the best. Classy, not over the top. Please keep it up. If I can eventually visit USA again I hope to visit.

Love this show!
kezhn22 October 2018
I'm a long time fan of Joe Martin and remember when he and his brother did the bike shows also. I love the no nonsense builds and the great camaraderie of the crew. All of the crew are likeable people and I get a kick out of their kidding each other. Joe builds some outstanding rides! Beautiful work and wicked paint jobs by "Short Dog". This show is always enjoyable to watch and I look forward to seeing the finished car. There is no drama, no arguing...no BS...just a cool bunch of talented people building some real nice cars. What I enjoy most about the show is, they actually show a lot of the build process. Unlike other shows that edit that all out in favor of arguing or drama. Joe has such a laid back personality too....he's just a likeable guy with a ton of talent. I even like when Amanda and Shag go hunting for parts. Even as mundane as that may seem, their humor keeps it interesting and they always score the parts Joe needs for the build. Way better than the sillyness of Overhaulin.

At times not family friendly
Vjones48627 August 2022
At times female main character wears super short shorts and there was one female at one time that had her butt cheeks out of her shorts. It's sad but as the tv show's seasons progress the shorts has gotten worse and shorter each season. We as a family watch for the cars/build progress not for wearing less clothes.

Mandy is gorgeous and doesn't need to start removing clothes for more views/ratings. The show is good and the builds are great already. It just gets tiring when you find good show and they slowly get less family friendly each season and then you gotta find another show. We skip certain episodes to avoid watching episodes with skimpier shorts.

like a family
govealaw12 May 2018
Your program comes across like a family program. the cast is lovable.each and everyone is like people we know in real life. I'm sure there are a lot of car lovers out there that wish they could just pack up and go work in the shop, for free just to have the reward of bringing a car back to life. Keep on trucking . Great Show
waynedoran-550959 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This is one of the very best car / bike shows on the air today. The skills required to do some of the work takes years and years of practice.

The show keeps getting better and better as they go along. I am also very happy to see that Shag has got most of the barbecue sauce out of his beard, I am sure it won't be long before its all gone and his beard is all white.

The Best Build Show Hands Downs
laxstevelax29 April 2018
This build show has what I call "It" A team with passion, extraordinary talent, the drive of perfection in every build no matter if it rolls or floats. The team is always positive, excited, looks forward to their next build and they deliver it to their audience in a relaxed, genuine and some what comical way. I've watched build shows for a number of years and I have never enjoyed a show more that Iron Resurrection. This show makes you feel as if your right there in the shop with the guys. The dedication to perfection Joe reflects keeps you drawn to every episode. Not only Joe, but all the team, who make up this talented and dedicated group of craftsman. If I every have the opportunity to have a car of my desire built, it will be built by these guys. I suppose I'll have to take a number and stand in line with the 100's of others, but when my turn comes up, I know my project car will be built to perfection. Thank You Martin Brothers for this show. You guys and Amanda have figured out what we want and present it with that genuine and professional touch like no other. Hey Joe, buy Shorty his paint shaker, he deserves it.
