It's so strange to have an episode where Finn and Jake don't appear. I mean, Fionna and Cake appear, so they're at least in this episode in spirit. The Ice King reads yet another fanfiction and reads five (really!) short stories to his penguins and the audience. The episode ends with the guy who did the other episodes like this being disappointed. The one part that probably made this a perfect score for me was the recursive fanfiction.
There's actually a scene where the Ice Queen reads a fanfiction featuring the Ice President...which ITSELF is about the Ice President reading a fanfiction of his to the Finn and Jake counterparts. I'm too confused to keep track of this. I think this is the first time we saw the gender reverse version of Cinnamon Bun. That was him or her, right? Cake the cat has just the funniest voice and I get happy whenever I hear her. Maybe the Ice Queen writes fanfics about the Ice King? Like "The Amazing World Of Gumball" this show just gets better and more creative as it goes on. ****
