As Tamil superstar Chiyaan Vikram’s upcoming action-spy-thriller film ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ draws near, the movie has unveiled its first single ‘Naracha Mudi’. A pop-themed electrifying romantic song, the track is layered with both playful but heartfelt romance alongside a level of lust.
Though nothing overly too sexual, there is a certain mood that emits from just the composition and vocal delivery alone, and listeners can get that feeling whether they understand the language or not.
Sung by Srilekha Parthasarathy, also known as Srilekha, the song is romantic, playful, lustful, and a delight to listen to.
A mixture of electronic pop with some atmospheric keyboards, and classical instrumentation in both European and Indian styles, the simplistic composition of Harris Jayaraj complements the vocals very well.

Tamil superstar Chiyaan Vikram is rocking it out in the newly released trailer for his upcoming spy action thriller film ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’, as he plays a black ops specialist. The trailer features a bunch of cursing, explosions, high-octane action, romance, dark comedy, violence, and a whole analogy based around cricket. ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ follows the government creating a new black ops task force to deal with terror threats called ‘The Basement’, after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
An off-the-books rogue team that goes outside of the law or any convention to achieve its objectives, the ‘The Basement’ being based in Chennai and having a whole cricket analogy consists of a total of 11 members.
Out of these 11, Vikram who essays the character of John is a ‘specialist’, who deals in target killings, high profile assassinations, espionage, encounters and more. Featuring some very high production, the trailer looks much more rooted than the average...

Bob Dylan is speaking out about the death of Robbie Robertson, lamenting the loss of his “lifelong friend.”
In a statement he issued to Billboard, the 82-year-old rock legend offered his first public statement on Robertson, who died at age 80 on Wednesday.
“This is shocking news,” Dylan said. “Robbie was a lifelong friend. His passing leaves a vacancy in the world.”

Dylan’s association with Robertson dates back to 1966, when he tapped The Hawks (who would go on to renamed themselves The Band) as his backing band during his 1966 tour.
Now seen as groundbreaking, Dylan’s decision to “go electric” infuriated the folk-music purists at the heart of his fan base, creating controversy wherever they played.
“We got booed all over North America, Australia, Europe, and people were saying this isn’t working and we kept on and Bob didn’t budge,...

The Amityville Curse seemed to bear a couple of its own curses. It’s an Amityville knockoff and after Amityville Cult, Amityville Thanksgiving, Amityville in the Hood, and so many more, it’s pretty much a guarantee of mediocrity. Secondly, it’s a Tubi Original, which usually carries a very similar guarantee.
But there were a couple of reasons to be hopeful as well. Director Éric Tessier may not be well known outside of Quebec but his adaptions of two of Patrick Senécal’s novels, 5150 Elm’s Way and more importantly, Sur le Seuil aka Evil Words, are both excellent. Dennis Heaton wrote the film, based on the novel by the late Hans Holzer. Heaton you may recall wrote the Billy Connolly zom-com Fido.

Ruggero Deodato’s 1980 film Cannibal Holocaust is a horror classic. It pioneered what would become known as the found footage genre, which eventually spawned classics like The Blair Witch Project, Rec and the Paranormal Activity movies. It tells the tale of an American film crew becoming lost and brutally murdered in the Amazon rainforest, with the footage being discovered later.
Cannibal Holocaust is notoriously violent, with the gore being so realistic that authorities assumed that Deodato made a real snuff film. He was even charged with the murder of cast members. His defense wasn’t helped by the fact that the cast had agreed to lay low for a year so the director could make audiences believe in the movie’s fiction. Fortunately, he managed to get in touch with them before he was convicted and got them to confirm that they hadn’t actually been fed to cannibals.

Ventana Sur’s Blood Window sidebar for projects and films in progress has been a standout event on the Latin horror calendar since its launch in 2013, and is one of the Buenos Aires market’s most popular sections.
In the following years, it has become a key two-way conduit between Latin American and international festivals and box offices.
To that end, one of coordinator Javier Fernández’s primary focuses for this year’s seventh edition is to “continue promoting our collaboration with fantastic international film festivals and industry events,” he explained to Variety ahead of the December event.
This year’s Blood Window Spotlight on International Projects includes five works brought to Buenos Aires by the Bucheon Korea International Fantastic Film Festival (Bifan), Sitges Catalunya Fantastic Film Festival and Bif-Market from the Brussels Fantastic Film Festival and Nordic Genre Invasion.

Attack on Titan Season 3 Episode 20
“Why? Because it’s fun…”
Attack on Titan is an extremely fantastical series that features man-eating monsters, unfathomable special abilities, and absolutely dazzling weaponry. It’s a series that always boils down to the people, not the monsters, but it still exists in this heightened take on reality.
Attack on Titan contains outlandish sci-fi storylines, but the new information that all of this started over ingrained racism, a war for oil, and a recycling of power between feuding forces is certainly a level of reality that I wouldn’t have expected to enter the series. At the same time, it also feels oddly appropriate to see a heavy stylized anime world trip...

Attack on Titan Season 3 Episode 19
"Eren, when I get home I'll show you what's in the basement that I've been keeping secret all this time."
Series that revolve around one central mystery are a hell of a tightrope walk to properly maneuver. When they work, it’s unreal, but there’s so much, arguably too much, riding on what that big reveal will be. There are other situations like Lost (or even How I Met Your Mother), where the broad endgame of the series is known, but not the finer details along the way. This can result in the show actively changing story beats in order to mesh with that overarching original vision, which may ultimately satisfy, but...
