Stupid on a sled
Snootz26 March 2018
While this movie is (and this phrasing is very much unlike my usual reviews)-- tree hugger pseudo-hippie nonsense-- it is somehow captivating and quasi-interesting all the way through. One wonders if it's ever going to hit a climax or have any resolution. At the end of the movie one is still asking the same question. Yes it has a climax... sort of... and a resolution... sort of.

But what it boils down to is philosophical nonsense disguised as a Scifi/fantasy movie. The acting is bland, the script beyond ludicrous, the plot (what there is of it) a slow drudgery of getting nowhere. The variety of the three female leads keeps this from being a total loss, and I kept bouncing back and forth between giving it 3 or 4 stars.

But in the end it's 3-star nonsense with semi-interesting characters. I would say it makes a point except it doesn't. It's a "documentary" without evidence, a finger-pointer without solutions, and total tripe in concept. It's a perfectly good way to waste an hour and a half without considering it a *total* waste... but it comes pretty close to being a bad movie. Nah, let's call it: it's a bad movie.

Drudgery attempting to look serious
SaintPaddy15 March 2018
The movie was a drudgerous tossed-salad blend of various farcical mystical dogmas, mixed with a few actual ecological facts (but a far larger repertoire of profound and blatant technical and scientific errors). And I even tend to grant "dramatic" or "artistic" license in the extreme when it comes to the science and technical accuracy of movies. The story painfully lacked drama, suspense, or any action worth noting. The only remotely positive thing I can say for this film, is that the actresses in the film were reasonably attractive (in my opinion), and I have seen worse acting.

A fascinating film

What an interesting and beautiful film! It requires multiple viewings to absorb all the information this movie throws at you. I've already watched it twice, and it was even better the 2nd time, as I was able to focus more on the documentary parts. The information in the documentary sections really makes you wonder what exactly reality is. Some of the very unusual information in this film is going to push people's buttons who are closed off and not open to possibilities. This is not an action film. It is old school sci fi for people who want to be challenged and forced to think. As someone who is open to possibilities, I cannot recommend this film more highly. Plus, its very well done - both cinematography and acting.

Sums it up

I have thought this way as long as I can remember and really great to see someone put it in one place. I would love to have this movies documentry version of life and souls in book form. Is it out there? Dont look down when you watch this movie, hit pause. If you miss even a minute you could loose a piece of the meaning.
