A good parallels between Gianni and Jeff's story. Story out of focus from Gianni, spending too much time on Andrew again.

Better than the Previous Episode

The story of Jeff Trail's Navy troubles for his homosexuality is a bit melodramatic and plodding but he's a better cast fit than Cody Fern, far too young as David: both manipulated by Andrew, who takes more of a backseat in this episode than any other.

Warning: Spoilers
Some moments of the show were interesting, some were gritty and worth checking out, but this is just not working. They need to establish the other characters on this program, they can't just rely on Andrew every second.
And we need a narrative shakeup. Andrew was sick, we get it, but that's not the depth we expect in high-brow TV viewing anymore.
