After the last episodes exploring the Slime Kingdom and the Ice one, it was obvious the Fire Kingdom was next.

What I find extremely compelling about this episode is how it starts and you already go right to the plot, no filler. It was nice seeing FP again, even though she was a horrible dragon that made everybody fight each other for fun. It's really nice how Finn, after being heartbroken because of Jake's 'death' basically gives up and surrenders to fight with the others to death and LSP is up to save everyone.

I'm shocked to say it, but LSP has gotten a bit of development over the seasons, Season 1 LSP wouldn't have risked her life to save Ooo. Even if she donked up in the end with her speech, it's still nice to see her trying.

More intense than ever!

I think this may in fact be the best episode in this entire series. What's great is the amazing amount of tension this episode sets up. It's awesome to see Gunter and Lumpy Space Princess use their physical strength to help Finn. Okay, it makes more sense given Gunter's backstory, but that's another episode. I just love how this episode starts with them fighting Wyatt and stealing his armor. I admit I had no idea who Wyatt even was. There's just so many characters in this show! The Fire Kingdom has been burnt down or something with everyone becoming violent blue flames.

They have this really great reveal scene where Finn gets the jewel from a monster's teeth, only to realize that this monster actually is the Flame Princess herself! The funniest part is easily when LSP sees them fighting and says, "I can still see this relationship working out". It's really heartbreaking when Finn believes Jake to be dead and tries to tell Lady Rainicorn only to find out that she herself has become brainwashed too. Finn eventually becomes a blue flame and then everyone decides to stop fighting and just go attack the Candy Kingdom. I just love Lumpy Space Princess here so much. ****
