Interesting & Informative - Great Watch
1997Jenna6 February 2019
It was a great watch & very informative. It's a great way to see how it is from their perspective, which I think is really important.

Episode.01 - I learned a lot from the girl Emma, she says at 13:45 "OCD is where you get a thought that you think, like a bad thought in your head that you don't want. Then you think you have to perform an action or compulsion in order to stop the bad thought from happening" - I didn't realize that was a part of OCD & found it interesting. This episode also focuses on Beth, who has an eating disorder. She is in all 3 episodes.

Episode.02 - focuses on Crystal, who has hallucinations (& continues Beth's story).

Episode.03 - focuses on 2 boys at the hospital with depression & is the last episode. (Beth's story is continued as well).

It would've been nice to see more patients since they had a year to film but all was still good.

As someone dealing with depression (etc.), I would recommend "Don't Call Me Crazy" if you're interested in learning/understanding more about mental health, to see how it is from the inside and perhaps a different point of view.

I think more people should see things like this to understand better & help with stigmas surrounding mental health.

OVERALL, I found it interesting & learned from the show :) More people should watch informative videos on mental illness.
