Masterpiece

I don't normally post reviews but I was stunned to see this episode had none. It was a genuine masterpiece and easily the best of the series so far.

The marketing team must have been seriously under qualified or underfunded because Medici deserves far more recognition than it's been given.

Rarely is something perfectly balanced and executed with such brilliance as this episode. I had to take a break after this one and catch my breath as I realized that it will be almost impossible to experience anything like this again. Whaat a beauty!

Masterpiece episode

Riveting episode. High on various emotions. Betrayal, chilling, shock and revenge... the detail, the lightning to show Pazzis and Medici especially in the Duomo.

admirable

The expectations about the reflection of Pazzi plot were high. And the episode gives more than every projection. Well crafted scene by scene, it is admirable portrait of power, revenge, politic and new beginnings. The music, the image, the acting are just great. And, out of reserves, Sebastian de Souza gives the fair Botticelli not only as artist but , for the right definition of Renaissance, as key character in a serie remarkable not only for the accuracy reflections but for the universal message.
