I never in my life played a single Five Nights at Freddy's game. Honestly, I don't see the appeal of those games. I honestly don't see the appeal of the whole "mascot horror" genre, which in my opinion is absolutely, creatively bankrupt.
Seriously, all of those games trying to be the next Five Nights at Freddy's are exactly the same thing, with just a few cosmetic changes. Basically, all of them are: "What is this cute thing for kids was actually eeeevil and spoooky and what if a character for kids was a serial killer and all is just the same stuff with exactly personality, aesthetic and with just a little retro bait element (Furbys, Dora the explorer, animatronics, etc.)
Take for example that Winnie Pooh horror movie. Or that Banana Split horror movie. Or that movie with Nicholas Cage. All those movies are the same thing, the monsters are exactly the same, there is zero creativity.
The fanarts are more interesting than the games themselves.
At least this parody was nicely animated and had some amusing moments. It also was more creative by telling the story from the perspective of the fnaf animatronics, giving a distinct personality to each one of them instead of relying in cheap jumpscares.
FNAF would work better as a wacky cartoon than a silly, predictable horror game. I had no intention of watching the upcoming movie, it looks stupid.
