I like the show diving head first into the case instead of giving us a short cold open and then having it explained to us through a body, but for all the excitement they built up early on they wasted it by the end.

How do you have the bad guy get captured 10 minutes in?

When the truck runs over the spikes on the road, you seek the tyres blow, but when them truck pulls up you can see that the front tyres are fully inflated... when they drive away in the getaway car they drive back in the direction where the spikes were laid.
