Many answers given in this episode, and the connections to understand how things have come to be. I think all (maybe except Pullman) are doing a great job at transmitting the gravity of what they're going through.

Marin Returns

We left episode seven with Julian being taken from his foster home. Harry and Heather are now in hot pursuit. It becomes obvious that the one who has taken the kid is his birth mother who left the commune and her baby. Vera then took over motherhood and a tenuous situation. We get a glimpse of how Vera was confronted by Marin and wouldn't yield to her wishes. So the caped figure we've become accustomed to is Marin in a hooded garment worn by nuns of a certain order. We are then made privy to Marin's attempt to explain to the boy how she could be the real mother and what that entails. The final scene is really quite dramatic. I'm sure it isn't as simple as it seems.

Its not good anymore, what are we waiting for? Season one worked but this mess? What is the point?
