Laughing Under the Clouds Gaiden (2017) is a movie I recently watched on Tubi. The storyline follows three brothers who grow up training and learning to reside and survive together. They are given a mission to rotate protecting a sacred shrine from a certain menace. When the menace returns they will need to rely on themselves and a few friends if they hope to defeat the menace.

This movie is codirected by Terri Doty (Baka and Test) and Tetsuya Wakano (Attack on Titan) and contains the voices of Emily Baudot (The Gate), Clifford Chapin (Attack on Titan), John Burgmeier (Dragon Ball Z), Colleen Clinkenbeard (Fullmetal Alchemist) and Gregory Lush (Earthrise).

The animation for this is pretty good and the action and fight scenes are entertaining. The depiction of friendship and comradery is well portrayed. The characters are interesting the setting, action and style is pretty good.

Overall this is an above average addition to the genre that's worth a viewing. I would score this a 6/10 and strongly recommend giving it a shot.
