Every episode Grace is a part of always turns into a laugh factory. So happy the creators/producers kept her in the show.

Good and bad.

Warning: Spoilers
Overall, Travelers does pretty well in using correct firearms procedures. But when Marcy is worried about David buying a gun, and then comes home to find him cleaning it, a big mistake happens. She is right to get upset when she sees that it is still loaded, and tells him never to clean a loaded gun. That's absolutely correct, and many experts advise not having ammo in the room at all. Marcy is also right to get upset when he looks down the barrel. But then she tells him to point the gun at her, which is no different than pointing the gun at himself. The rules of gun safety are: 1, always assume a gun is loaded; 2, never point a gun at anyone or anything you're not willing to shoot; 3, keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire; 4, be sure of your target and what's behind it.
That said, it's great that Marcy didn't pretend guns are all evil and David was bad for wanting one. He had good reason to fear for his safety after everything that's happened. Marcy insisted he learn to handle it safely, which is awesome!
And of course, since religion was in this episode, we saw another example of how much the producers hate religion. Not once in the series are religious people portrayed positively, but always as crazed wackos.

Mediocre episode

Warning: Spoilers
There is a lot of nonsense in this episode. We've seen this before, but it's getting worse over time and once established rules of the series' world are no longer valid, as well as rational characters behaving more irrational from episode to episode.
My main gripes in this one: The nanite infection of Trevor. From the moment he was bitten, it was obvious to anyone watching the series that this would transfer the nanites to him. But the writers think we're idiots, so Trevor, a character that is intelligent, wise, highly experienced and has had a lifespan longer than anyone else in the team, does not realize the risk and actively hides the bite from the team. Why though? Doesn't make sense at all.
Also, I am a bit annoyed by the AI nanites being transferred to the AI computer via the same "my head hurts"-process Travelers use to send their conciousness to people.
Plus, the computer dude (Teslia) not immediately calling Yates when the team shows up - again - to mess with the AI, while he has done so in the past, is also out of character.
I still hate Jeff's character even in his new role, he's unnecessary to the story as a whole, and I love both Grace and David.
There are reviews here complaining about the depiction of religion, which I find amusing. This is a (fictional) science themed show and religion is per definition unscientific, so this shouldn't come as a surprise.

Oh no, Christians - beware

As soon as I saw the cross on the family's wall I told my wife "Here we go - Christian characters. Just wait they will be crazy radical cult people."
"You don't know that for sure."
"Yes. I do. This show is one of the worst when it comes to anti-religion bias. Just wait."
And voila - crazy weirdo just as I said.
