I can't help it, I love Johnny Lawrence and he is absolutely amazing in this episode. Another parallel between cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do, but on the basis of personality. Great storyline and decent acting.

Warning: Spoilers
Johnny Lawrence show depth and both side of his character in Fire and Ice as we learned more about the human side of Kruse his mentor. We see not all people are good or evil. Faults with Danial and good in Johnny. Mixed with humor and seriousness Fire and Ice is a good episode.

Warning: Spoilers
All of the dueling dojo stuff got old fast. I'm hoping for more about the characters in the remainder of the season. The only progression was about Robby being Johnny' son and it was a bit of a let down.
On the bright side, I did find it enjoyable that the potential Miagi-do students were quickly turned off by the "grab a paint brush and get to painting my fence" lessons. That was a fun real-world turn.
I also wish Creese hadn't come back. He's not a great actor and I'm hoping they give him something more than the one note they expect him to hammer on over and over.
I'm rooting for this show and the rest of this season.
